The location was super convenient for hikes, especially to Kronberg and Ebenalp. Breakfast had a lot of fresh options, and the staff made it feel like home. Definitely recommend meals at the restaurant. they were delicious and well-priced. Great value for money overall!

The staff truly stood out. Matthew at the front desk was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. The breakfast spread had a variety of fresh local options every morning that I really appreciated. The stunning city view from the balcony was a perfect start to each morning.

We stayed in the Adler suite, and the decor was absolutely gorgeous, capturing the Appenzell style perfectly. The bathroom was exceptional, featuring a spacious shower with nice fixtures. The bed was super comfy, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Plus, the room had a little balcony with a nice view! Just a heads up, you may hear church bells, but they didn’t bother us much. The location made it easy to access the main street and local attractions, which was a huge plus!
